Integer mode: is it possible with AN DACS?

Hi all
I am (going to) use a 3.,1 SE kit with an M2Tech EVO full stack, fed by a Mac Mini with either Pure Music or Audivrana+. I have read a lot of posts on various PC Audio forums raving about Integer mode fed to a DAC results in increased SQ.

Has anyone had experience of this with AN DACs? I am not sure if the compliance needs to be in the USB-SPDIF convertor or the DAC (or both) and also if Lion (Apple dropped Integer in Lion) provides via Pure Music a work around to get the Integer mode to run. If Integer really is the Dogs Boll... maybe I will need to revert back to Snow Leopard??

Any insight would be great guys.
