I have used the Dac 1.1 with tube preamps with a 50K input impedance with success. You may want to increase the output capacitor to 1.0 MFD, rather than the stock .39 MFD. I used a polystyrene capacitor, which was FAR better than the Audio Note paper and aluminum foil stocker.
