L4 EL34p with 6550....?

I am not an expert in tubes at all, but as I have seen that many amplifiers can be equipped with EL34 or 6550 or other tubes (KT88) , I would like to know if it is possible to use the L4 EL34p amplifier with the 6550 tubes ?
Now, you are probably sure that I am not a tube expert !...
