Thanks for the info. So the C5 and C3 are the PSU's most influential capacitors for the sound?
I can also see that Response Audio has changed those (or similar functioning caps as on their pic there is the older M2 PSU) to Mundorf M Tube polypropylene caps: http://www.responseaudio.com/Audio%20Note%20Custom%20DAC%202.1%20Deluxe.htm
Also AN factory finished line DAC 5 Special seems to have few caps of the PSU replaced with external bigger oil or polypropylene caps. http://www.audionote.co.uk/products/digital/dac_5_special_01.shtml
Would the combination of C5->oil cap and C3->polypropylene cap yeild much more benefits compared to the Response Audios way of both being polypropylene caps?
