Hum when kit DAC is connected to an M2

Hi, I have a hum in my set-up when kit DAC is connected to AN M2, but not if the DAC is connected directly to an integrated amp. The M2 is an old version with 2x12AU7, and the kit DAC is around 5 years old. Any suggestions what causes the problem, and what will help?
