This is not a problem.

What you are hearing is an electrical relay - it just 'sounds' like arcing.

Sometimes it will do this a number of times, other times you won't hear it at all when you switch on. It depends how many times it takes to get a 'lock' on the signal.

I must say, however, if you have not experienced it before then it does sound concerning - but it isn't.
