Yes - you are right there are not really enough pics of the kit2.
Since I took over the kit business in January we have had only a few requests for the kit2 - lots of requests for kit1s however. I bought two complete Kit2's from AudioNote and my plan (when I have time) has been to put one together. It basically looks exactly like the kit1 except the 300B tubes are replaced with 6550's.

I personally have not heard one but am very curious because the Harmon Kardon tube amp that I grew up listening to was 6550 based and it moved my soul!

I put out an enquiry on the forum recently to get some feedback from any kit2 owners and I got one response from a customer who loved his kit2

So we definately need to build and test one out on this end and I would be very interested in selling one of the kit2's to a customer so that we can get some good feedback. I would like to have a kit2 built and tested on this end in the next 2 months and then we could post some pics on the website.

I have noticed that the Kit2 manual has been very well written and the design has just two PCB's instead of the 3. It came out after the kit1 so I think AudioNote made some improvements to this kit over the kit1.
