I am truly sorry I missed some of the earlier posts or I would surely have tried the Servo 260 by now.
I had the rather unfortunate experience of having my tube amp fail the week before Christmas and I am now resolved to find a low priced ss amp I can live with for awhile. That said, the first ss amp I tried had an annoying transformer hum so it went back. That's when I called the pro audio dealers about the Samson. I would have gone mail order but I needed something quick in order to music for holiday entertaining. However, based on their lack of enthusiasm for the Samson, I ended up getting a Rotel which is built well, but a little clinical sounding. To be fair, it is not burned in and it seems to have potential if paired with the right speakers. In the meantime, I saw a great deal on new speakers which I have just ordered. Once the dust settles on all of this I will try the Samson. It can be had for around $200 with a 30 day return if bought mail order.
