I too have experimented with Class D in the past (all disappointing) and 3 years ago decided to move away fom SETs. I home demo'd many ss amps of all flavours and decided on the Purifi Eligentakt-based NAD M Series amplifier. No regets and infinitely better than the earlier Class D's I owned in the past. I think that Purifi is currently top of the tree ragarding Class D
