Thank you, but this is not necessary. My friend for whom I'm inquiring is focused on his interest in the Fosi gear specifically, and is going ahead with his purchases. We'll see what happens.
When I'm ready to start rebuilding a new system for myself here, I'll be concentrating on my continued interest in KT88 amplification (like my previous one that I sold to a friend in Alaska before leaving). Mine will be a slow process, as I first have to acquire my own living space (still living with friends during my first few weeks here). Then I'm starting over from zero -- including all pre and power amplification, speakers, other components, cables and cords, etc. All I've actually kept are my music files on external disks. It will again be a computer/DAC system, and I'm also considering adding a turntable so that I can get back to some vinyl as well.
And again, it's live performance that I'm concentrating on getting back to first and foremost. All my energy is in this direction at the moment (along with continued immigration progress, of course).
