I have.
Replaced crappy op amps in Music Hall DAC.
The OPA2134 and OPA2604 op amps masked subtle music detail revealed by the discrete replacements (along with my far more transparent music system upstairs). I am most certainly not the only one who understands the value of discrete replacements.
You really need to give up on your inability to understand what I hear in my systems.
