I've heard the DeVore speakers at shows and have always been very impressed. The only reason I didn't pursue them more was that they were always paired with tubes. I assumed the total balance and presentation was due to the tubes with which I've lost patience and desire to mess with, hence my purchase of the SIT-3. Your review was pretty enlightening .
I have owned stock Quad 57's and modified 63's for years. The fact that the Super Nines share many of those Quad qualities with dynamic drivers and mates well with the SIT-3 means I really need to explore this combination.
