Sorry for the long time between updates. I've had the vtl on the shelf awaiting my Mccormack DNA-1. This amp has a 100K ohm input impedance and the vtl has the same amount of hiss.
Is there anyway I can test this preamp with a DMM or an oscilloscope?
The vtl sounds great, but I can't live with the high amount of pink noise.
