RE: REVIEW: Merrill Audio Advanced Technologies Taranis Amplifier (SS)

Merrill kindly offered to lend me a pair of Thors 2 years ago. I liked them, but decided not to change from the amps I was then using - Consonance Cyber 845 monos.

The Merrills undoubtedly had better bass and were quieter (good with my 102dB speakers) but the sound was less involving and exciting than the tube amps. Since then, I've tried or bought several other amps and have found greatest satisfaction (where you want to turn up the volume and stay listening for hours) with my GamuT D200 and the new NAD M32.

The recent thread about Micromega M1-100 amp sounds interesting too!
