Two amps per speaker?

Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here.

I'm using an Ayre VX-5 Twenty to drive a pair of KEF LS50s. I'd like to occasionally use a pair of Cary 572 SE monoblocks. Would having both the Ayre and Carys connected to the KEFs create a problem even though only one would be active at a time? The Ayre uses spades, the Carys bananas.
