Are you running preamp outs to the Threshold? If so, I'm not sure how you'd configure both HT preamps. Although all of those you listed should sound decent, none I'd consider warm. My personal preference would be Krell. Guessing Cary would be the warmest or provide the most colorations.

Why not run your CDP and computer to your Yamaha using its internal DAC? You might find some of what you are looking for by better utilizing what you have.

If you want to add another preamp, I'd suggest a 2-channel with a HT bypass so you can best configure your stereo & HT listening into one system.
