RE: Need Help wth VTL 2.5 Pre amp.


I have no specific information on your VTL 2.5 but a couple questions that may sound silly. Maybe you've already considered....

1) Are there any color bands around resistors R2 and R5? What are they? If present, they should reveal the value of those resistors.

2) Have you tried measuring R2 and R5 with a DMM? If there are other components in-circuit that might affect the measured value, you can usually lift one resistor lead from the circuit by unsoldering or clipping it to take a measurement.
