Pairing amp with Klipsch Horn loaded speakers

I have always loved the sound of Klipsch Horn loaded speakers when paired with a tube amp. I have Klipsch KLF30's and am currently running a Jolida 801 (75 watt) amp along with a Musical Fidelity pre amp. My situation is this, I now only listen to music on the system occasionally and now have grandkids visiting regularly. The kids are infatuated by the shiny brass amp and those odd looking glass things sticking up from the top. With a ground problem to boot, it seems like keeping the system in good sound quality is more time spent and too much work for how much I listen to it. Does anyone have suggestions for a solid state amp that would give the warm sound of the tubes but would not cost more than $1200.?
I would appreciate all suggestions and comments.
