During a phone conversation with my cousin he told me he hasn't used the Cary CAD 572 SE amps since he got the bigger CAD 805 more than 10 years ago, so I should feel free to use the 572s as long as I wish. I'm going to try them with my KEF Reference 107/2s (4Ω 90 dB sensitivity) now driven to superb effect by JC 1 monoblocks.
