Well, I have the Einstein "The Absolute Tune" and you are right about its sound. There are a couple of possibilities that cost a lot less and maybe don't sound AS good but still sound very good.

The first choice would be the Monarchy Audio SE250 or SE160 monos. Much cheaper and very good sounding. Couple those with the Monarchy Audio NM24 DAC/Preamp and away you go.

Other options would be the Pathos Classic One or the TT (only 30 watts or so but it might be enough and sounds really good)

If you can find one...the Joule Electra VAMP is another good choice.
