I have the XPA-3 amp and USP-1 pre-amp. They replaced McIntosh components. Build quality is excellent. Can't fault the sound in any way (at least to my ears). Pre-amp has a very effective sub-woofer connection circuit that incorporates separate crossover functions for sub and satellite integration. The only feature lacking as far as I'm concerned is a balance control. The XPA-3 amp is three channel but I'm only using two. If I ever decide to integrate it into a 5:1 HT set-up, I can use my Onkyo receiver for the rear channels and I'm good to go. Emotiva has a 30 day guarantee and transferrable 5- year warranty. In my opinion, you really can't go wrong.
