I was just making a comment on topologies...

While there's been a lot of "ageist" whimpering 'round these parts of late one thing I have learned traversing the time trail from octal tubes to tssop class D chips is that regardless of the technology, everything has compromises and trade-offs and implementation is usually more important than the underlying technology.

If it sounds good, it is good.
