You're welcome, Cassavetes I love; but he's a bit hit + miss. The Hits include: "Nicky + Mikey", "Husbands",( Falk in these two ) "Killing of a Chinese Bookie" + "Gloria" while "Opening Night", "a Woman under the Influence" ( Falk again )+ "Minnie + Moskovitz" are pretty self-indulgent, tho' watchable if you have the patience. He's got to be cut slack as the *only* independent American filmmaker of his timeI've made an effort to catch up on films, I've watched over 1500 in the last 2 years + covered not a fraction of what is out there, and with a considerable bias to "new" films
If it's any consolation, keeping up with new books in publication + new music is impossible too...
