Good info, thanks for posting. The inconvenience of the bias adjustment would be a no-no for me, too. I wonder, though, if the unit was fully broken in. How many hours did you put on it? I've also been tempted to buy something from Vic Trola (love that name) and calling ahead seems like great advice.
