I had a GCC-250 for about one year. It was being used with a few very simiilar sources (a Benchmark DAC1, then a Lavry DA10, then a Benchmark DAC1 USB) that were connected to my computer. The speakers were Totem Acoustics Model 1 Signatures.
I thought the GCC-250 sounded very good with my system, although I never really had a chance to compare it to anything. I then got an opportunity to acquire a pair of Jeff Rowland Model 201 monoblocks (which also use ICE-based Class D amplifier modules) and, as soon as I hooked it up, I noticed improvements in bass (much stronger) and the highs (much more lively). I sold the GCC-250 a few days later. So, based on that experience, I'd say you can do better if you are considering a Class D type of amplifier, and I'd recommend taking a look at the Jeff Rowland amps and integrated amps on Audiogon as an alternative.
By the way, I believe PS Audio is going to replace the GCC series sometime this year...
