I briefly owned the "regular" version of it around 1983. The amp I had was rated at 150wpc and the Gold version may be a little more powerful, say 200wpc. It was a brute of amp, a bit dark and grainy sounding with deep bass. The one I got had a bad transformer hum so I sent it back after about a week and bought a tube amp.
If I remember correctly the owners manual was about one or two typewritten pages, nothing fancy. Unfortunately, I don't know where you can find more info about it.
