Brio 3 vs. older Brio 2 ??

Has anyone listened to the new Brio3 side by side to the older Brio2 (which has the same case style) to see which model was "warmer"??
I am looking for the "Warmest" sound to make classic rock CDs
sound pleasant. (Or at least tame the brightness)
