I am using my LX-33 Luxman integrated amp as a seperate pre-amp with phono stage. When the amp is switched into phono mode, there is a hiss which is more pronounced in the right channel. I am using new Shuguang 12AX7's. I am going to probably call a tube amp technician soon to ask him about this but was wondering what it might be. The amp performs well, despite the little bit of noise.
