and thanks for responding.Yes I did talk to Micheal and checked the cable wiring diagrams in the manual.I have a VPI table with rca junction box.I'm going to eliminate the rca's and connect directly to the tonearm wire with shielded left/right cables.Would I be better off connecting the shields with the tonearm ground at the junction box with a single ground wire from the 'j' box to phono pre,or would it be better to connect the shields to pin 1 on the phono side.
