Charles,

If you see this I had a question regarding the P 5xe Phono.I noticed that the inputs,balanced/single ended are connected in paralell so that when using 'balanced in' pin 3 minus signal appears on the rca ground collar because they are connected together via the switch I guess.This causes some hum and when you touch the ground collar the hums gets much louder.
This doesn't happen when using the rca in because pin 3 is shorted to ground.I got the unit to take advantage of the balanced input but the pin 3/ground problem makes it too noisy.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
