I'm curious to hear thoughts on this, especially from the manufacturer contributors like Charlie from Ayre.Is global negative feedback (GNF) truly "evil" as many manufacturers claim -- and, if so, why? It's certainly a major marketing statement these days, particularly with SET manufacturers.
I use a high GNF amplifier (Naim) in my system and it sounds great to me.
One thing I will posit from all I've read is that the *implementation* of GNF is critical to achieving good sound.
