RE: Harman Kardon Citation 16

It looks like there were 2 versions of the 16. The original and the series A. Does anyone know which series the one I purchased is?? See pic at link.
The original 16 used the IC in its input stage but the series A went to discrete components. The series A also operated in class A up to 2.5 watts. I just can't seem to find if the one without meters is series A.
