Although I have read that Poon says that the latest version of the SE 100 is the sonic equivilent of the SM 70.I have heard a few other audio people say that the original SM 70, not the SM 70 PRO, is a sweeter sounding amp. I would be interested in hearing that, since the SM 70 is $200 or so cheaper an amp, and a pair of them only give up about 10WPC to the PRO. However, I am not sure they would handle difficult loads as well.
