I hope you're basing your comments on having heard a big Krell up against a pro amp of some sort. Do the pro amps run in class A for 300 watts or so? As has been pointed out on this thread the last 10% of performance costs a lot of money. To some people that last 10% is worth paying whatever the asking price is. Also to some others the performance of the Krell or JC1 or whatever big amp you want to name may well be far superior to the pro amps. No matter what price people pay for things, high OR low, they'll find a way to justify it.Cheers,
