The fish tank gravel was pretty but the components sounded best placed atop several layers of bubble wrap (large bubble type).I did biamp my 1.6s using an active crossover that I built which had the same transfer function as the stock magnepan crossover. It was a big improvement over the passive.
Yes, I've been using Orions now for about 3 years. I drop by occasionally to make sure Mart is earning his pay. :)
