Mart,Would fitting a snug pipe of some sort in the core's inner cylinder to minimize any alignment error help with the above (assuming the inner cores the foil is wrapped around are exactly identical in diameter)? Or would there be any other side effects brought into fore? Or is this problematic by virtue of the manufacturing (winding) process?
I used twine 'cause plastic ties couldn't bend aroung the edges of the inductors tightly enough to keep everything perfectly aligned (visually anyway).
