In my 2.1 bedroom system used mainly for streaming Netflix and the like, I'm using the LRS+ and a sub in the corner.
I'm continually amazed how great it sounds using optical out from the Sony tv to a Benchmark Dac/pre and my old Adcom 545 II.
Re the sub, I found it best to keep the crossover quite low (38hz- I have a lot of room gain) and the gain quite high.
