RE: Alternative setup of dipoles in a living room

From that website:

"Why does ESL Home have to be set up so close to the listening position?
The proximity to the listener promotes the correct sounding reproduction. The listening room adds interference to the original music signal during remote playback (as is common with speakers). This can be avoided by placing it close (up to 1 meter)."

They make a good case for solution to a lot of audiophile problems. Apartment dwelling would benefit from a mass adoption of this outlook on things.
