Heil AMT Conclusion

After a lot of experimentation, to bring out the very best of the Heil AMT's, one needs a transparent, high quality method of dialing in different crossover points/slopes and to manipulate the frequency response.

If so inclined and resourceful, one could do all of that in passive crossover domain, but that would be a lot of work and parts that will be experimented with but not used in the end.

Really high quality DSP crossover/EQ hardware is not as easy to find as some think, and the truly high quality ones are $$$$.

I ended up doing room, speaker measurements and coming up with filters needed with outboard DSP, but for actual use, I manually dialed in those filters on server software and use a discrete Analogue outboard crossover.

Sounds Fabulous!
