RE: ESLs & The "Power Range"

That is not a frequency crossover. FR crossover is what "crossover" in the context audiophile speakers means.

The fact that they don't have a crossover is what gives them such perfect transients response that two of them can audibly cancel either other when faced and played opposite polarity material.

No speaker with a passive crossover of any kind, at speaker level, can do that, except at most at a single point in space (and then still not nearly as perfectly).

The 57, on the other hand, DOES have a crossover - it is a two-way speaker.
