I currently have my dac going direct via balances cables - ps audio directstream. I have a Cary slp98p with a slightly noisy tube that is single ended. The Cary was modded to include the mundorf caps / as well as improvements in the power supply. I also had it direct coupled. I've got to figure out if better rca cables / and tubes would be worth it. I currently have wireworld eclipse 8s for balanced cables out of the dac ...- and Audioquest king cobra rcas
