RE: Magnepan speakers ,,,,, underpowered vs proper power ,,,, sound difference ..

I find that having sufficient power makes a significant difference with my Mini-Maggies (and bass panel). I use them on a desktop system with a Crown XLS amplifier (yes, I know, it's more for professional sound reinforcement), but it opened up the soundstage and overall impact these speakers make.
