I heard these at Capital AudioFest a few weeks back! I believe that's where these pictures were taken. As a Maggie owner, I made a beeline for the room once I saw their product description.
It was the most disappointing room for me :( maybe it was because I had high expectations. Maybe it was because of the music they were playing (I think it was some chamber orchestra music) or the amp set-up (tubes) or the room set-up (there was minimal space behind the speakers, the speakers were on the long side of the room and the listening position was probably less than 10'). But, I left that room after only one song. Maybe I should've stayed longer.
IIRC, the speakers had great clarity but lacked the 'wall of sound' effect I get with Maggies. In all likelihood, the poor set-up probably contributed heavily to the lack of this effect. But for $19.5k...I would've expected a heck of a lot more.
