I have never had Magnarisers, but I had Grant's Myesound stands on 1.6's and now on 3.7i's and I can confirm that they are very worthwhile. One problem that I see with the Magnarisers is that they don't have the brace that significantly stiffens the thin panels. You can even fill the bracing strut with steel or lead shot to add more inertia. I'm sure that you will be happy with Myesound. Maybe someone else can relate an experience with Magnarisers.
