a local purchase. The owner said they smelled with the usual, he never protected them in any way. I worked at a place that manufactured eliminators so I looked at them $100, the spray was on the bottom where the crossover and hookups were, took them out on the porch and sprayed them and let them sit for a few days.
Worked perfect, and told the Boss. I eventually gave them to a friend, too many other problems with them. Never again though
So it's a good idea to protect them to avoid it
