RE: Is 50 Watts per channel enough for MG1-IMP?

Thank you all who replied. Your advice is really helpful. I like to listen to my Maggies by setting up the volume to be around 82 - 83 decibels (average measurements using my phone in my seating location).

I feel those levels are approximating the loudness of a real life performance (acoustic instruments/voices).

Since my Maggies are rated by the manufacturer as needing 50 to 80 Watts, I am wondering if going overboard to 200 or 300 Watts could possibly damage them?
