Yes I've tried lots of combinations of absorption and diffusion and reflection around the room. I put together 2x4ft x4" fiberglass panels covered in speaker cloth to position as bass traps but they absorb mids and highs too. So I've moved them around and measured and listened. I can do diffusion in the back of the room because the wall is 10ft away. If it was much closer I'd do absorption. I have bass traps in all four corners and hanging across ceiling-wall corners too.

The 3.7s are open front and back. The tweeters are closer to the wall. Each has a 2'x6' wood baffle screwed to the leading edge closer to the MLP. The baffles help block cross reflections of the back wave. They also help with calibration with Dirac Live.
