In chess, a knight moves kitty corner. It advances one square, and then to either corner square.
Now,in golf that's called a dogleg.
If I am at corner at an intersection and say something is located kitty corner to me, I mean it is across the street *and* on the other side of the street.
So, open up google maps. Google Empire State building. Zoom in.
The Empire State building is located kitty corner (as is a Walgreens, of course) to the CUNY student center.
Let's say I am having lunch at Sardi's. If I am sitting kitty corner to the bar, where am I?
How how we turn this into speaker location, I'm still baffled.
