The tape appeared to work perfectly from a structural and cosmetics standpoint but have yet to power it up. The wires are bonded to the mylar and tape. For one of the panels some of the wires only lifted about 8 inches or so at the top of the panel. The rest of the panel looked good. For the other panel (with the mylar tear), some of the wires lifted just at the top while 4 lifted all the way to mid panel. Looks like I can still do localized rebonding to the mylar.
My question now is after bonding, should i just coat with the milloxane (i ordered the 3m 30NF) locally where i cleaned and rebonded wires or should i apply over the entire panel (on top of the original milloxane)? The original milloxane has tiny white specs which can be removed with a q-tip or similar. Its really tedious but can be done.
Thanks!
