It is just my experience owning and using the MG IIIIa since 1987 with many amps in many rooms.The low end response quoted by Magnepan is "Typical' in an average room.
It can go lower in certain rooms, and after the speakers age.
You never had the same experience as me. Your IIIa was a dyi, not stock, and gave different results.
Quit arguing, we have different experiences, that is all.
